The Salento is the area that runs from Ostuni to Leuca, distinguishing between High and Low Salento based on the geographical position.

Usually, this area is the location where Italians spend their holidays in Puglia, and it is selected because of its stunning beaches.

Salento is a ‘real family-friendly area’ because its coastline is particularly suitable for kids. For beach addicts indeed, there are the Apulian “Maldives” where the seabed is very low for kilometers, children can play with water and sand without any worry.

In the end, but for many people on top of everything, this area can be proud of its wine production: Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello, and Salice Salentino, they got the best wine in the whole of Italy.
